Delta Zeta Alumnae

Great Western Area

The Great Western Area of Delta Zeta alumnae is consistent with the collegiate Region X and consists of Alaska, Arizona, California, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming. It is the largest area with the most states and boasts many active and award winning alumnae chapters.

Alumnae chapters unite members of Delta Zeta in and near a given city to assist the college chapters in that area and to foster friendship, ideals, and the general interest of Delta Zeta.

Chapter associations unite college and alumnae members from a college chapter for the purpose of establishing close communications and advancing the best interests of the chapter and Delta Zeta. Each member initiated into the sorority automatically becomes a member of her own chapter association.

New this year, recommendation letters for the Florence Hood Miner and Grace Mason Lundy Awards will be uploaded at the time the award application is completed and submitted on the Smarter Select site.

National award forms are to be completed no later than midnight Eastern time for the respective awards:

Florence Hood Miner Award applications due February 10, 2017.
Grace Mason Lundy Award applications due February 10, 2017.
Woman of the Year Award referrals due February 15, 2017.

Our members are making positive impacts on their campuses, in their communities, in their professions and in Delta Zeta. We encourage each of you to take the time to recognize an exceptional woman, collegiate or alumna, for her efforts and going above and beyond in promoting the values of Delta Zeta. These women continue to enrich the great legacy of our beloved Sorority.
