Holiday Service Project

Part I: The Greater Seattle Area Alumnae Chapter of Delta Zeta is collecting toys for the Hearing, Speach and Deafness Center's (HSDC) holiday party. If you would like to donate a toy, please email dzalumnae@gmail.com for a list of children and the type of toy they would like best! Or, if you would prefer to make a monetary contribution, a member of the Alumnae Board will purchase a gift for a child on your behalf. Part II: On November 20, 2011, alumnae and current Delta Zetas will gather at DZ's Kappa Chapter, at the University of Washington, for a holiday social and to wrap the gifts for the HSDC holiday party. To attend this social and gift-wrapping party, email dzalumnae@gmail.com. We hope to see you there!

Our purpose

Support Delta Zeta's Kappa Chapter at the University of Washington throughout the year. This includes assisting the chapter with recruitment activities, co-hosting Founder's Day, finding volunteers for the Advisory Team, providing chaperones for collegiate functions and promoting their philanthropic fundraisers.

Founders Day Celebration 

On October 23, 2011, Delta Zeta alumnae and collegiates gathered at Kappa Chapter, at the University of Washington, to celebrate Delta Zeta's Founders Day (October 24th) and honor our ten-, twenty-five, and fifty-year members.

2011 Flame Fantasy

On February 26, 2011, over 80 Delta Zeta alumnae, collegiates and their families and friends gathered at Maggiano's Little Italy in Bellevue for a fun afternoon filled with a charity auction and a delicious lunch! All together, Flame Fantasy raised $6,300. Of the funds we raised, $4,300 were donated to Camp Korey, $1,000 were donated to The Painted Turtle camp, and $1,000 were donated to the Delta Zeta Foundation. For information about Flame Fantasy 2012, or to get involved with planning the event, email dzalumnae@gmail.com.
