President's Message

All Delta Zetas in our (large) Valley region are most heartily invited to join us!

 

We're very pleased to have Pi Gamma Chapter nearby at CSUN!  Lorrie Samalot (one of our busy alumnae members) is CCD.  In May, our alumnae were invited to celebrate with Pi Gamma their Founding Chapter date and "one-year" anniversary of being a full Chapter.  In addition, the group recognized graduating seniors.

 

Our annual DZ Nuts Sale kicks off at the October meeting.  Debbie Mischung and Barbara Lancaster, Ways & Means Co-Chairs, have a goodly line-up of the 'famous'  nut assortment:  noted for quality, freshness and flavor.  This is our principal fundraiser, and from the proceeds, we are able to make an annual monetary contribution to CSUN's National Center on Deafness, and to the Pi Gamma.

 

In February, we gather for our annual 'hands-on' philanthropy at NCOD.  At this time, we not only present our check, but also contribute time on a mailing or printing task for the Center.  

 

We "party" a bit, too.  July found us at a Mardi Gras party, "Laissez les bon temp rouler."   In December, we'll have our 'annual' Holiday Party.  Husbands and friends are also invited.
